Time is like clay, capable of being molded into something fresh and startling. Each time I begin the creative process, it is as if the creation is a puzzle. Do I turn this knob? Or push that button? What happens if I attach this to that? And suddenly time disappears. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi made a case for the limitlessness of time in his book about Flow. Creating new art is like that for me.
So today I'm launching a new point in time, Annularia Design. The word "Annularia" refers to the radiant leaf impressions of an ancient plant, known now only in fossils. It was similar in appearance to the modern Horsetail plant. Welcome to my time.
